When you have such high spiritual seriousness, commitment and quality, God will begin to bring in the quantity ( the harvest )
Act 4:4However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.Act 5:14And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.Act 6 :1,7Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.WHY MUST OUR CHURCHES NEVER STOP GROWING?
this is where we can focus n mediate why we must grow,
1. Because God
LOVE PEOPLE.
John 3:17
"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is...longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
2. Because God commands us to
REACH OUT.
Luke 14:23
"Then the master said to the servant, 'Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house maybe filled.' "
Acts 1:8
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be witness to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
3. Because the
NEED of the
PEOPLE demand it.
2 Cor 5:14For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died.4. Because
GROWTH is God's will.
Col 2:19 (GNB)Under Christ's control, the whole Body is nourished ... and grows as God wants it to grow.
Being in Church is not like work and CCA at all. Is really about our relationship with God. The reason why people seem us doing alot for Christ is because we love Him. We don't love without doing like religious people, but we do cause we obey and trust in Him. So let our mind be renew.
John 21:15
.... Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
John 21:16
He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
John 21:17
He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.
John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
